Winchester Thurston's innovative student-centered approach puts the student at the center of a rigorous academic program and responds to developmental, gender-related, and learning-style differences. The City Campus (KR-12) is centrally situated in Shadyside near cultural and educational centers; the seven-acre North Hills Campus (K-5) uses its spring-fed pond and butterfly garden for science and environmental studies.
