Sewickley AcademyPittsburgh's oldest independent school, Sewickley Academy occupies 30 acres approximately 12 miles north of the city. Students come from more than 50 local school districts, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Western Pennsylvania. A need-based financial aid program assists nearly 20 percent of students in meeting tuition costs. Small classes, averaging 14-16 students, assure the individual attention that is essential to helping each child reach his or her fullest potential. In addition to a challenging academic program, students participate fully in a broad spectrum of fine and performing arts opportunities.
